So You Want To Win the Lottery

If we all got everything we wanted, most of us would have won the lottery by now. So what happens when we notice that we aren't getting what we want, even when we've been using Law of Attraction to manifest a particular desire for an extended period of time?

Wanting to win the lottery is a clear desire, therefore, you need to use Law of Attraction deliberately. If you're not getting evidence that your desire to win the lottery is manifesting, then you need to review the Law of Attraction formula and check to see if all three conditions for Deliberate Attraction are being met. All desires you may have, for example, attracting an ideal mate, an ideal client base, ideal health or an ideal abundance of money require these same three conditions.

Step 1: Clearly identify your desire
Step 2: Raise your vibration (Give Your Desire Attention)
Step 3: Allow it

So let's examine these three conditions with respect to manifesting a winning lottery ticket.

Step 1: Clearly identify your desire (You bought a ticket and you WANT to win.) Step 1 is done.

Step 2: Raise your vibration (You talk about and daydream about all the things you'll do with the money you win.) Step 2 is done.

If the only thing we needed to do is Step 1 and Step 2, most people would have everything they've ever become excited about. So as you observe that you've NOT attracted what you've been desiring (in this case, a winning lottery ticket), you'll need to check the three step process to find out what step needs your attention more often. In most cases it's Step 3 - Allowing.

Allowing is the absence of doubt. Doubt is a negative vibration that cancels out the positive vibration of your desire, so removing doubt will allow your desire to come to you. Removing doubt will speed up the manifestation of your desire.

One of the best tools for removing doubt is to start keeping a log or journal of all the ways in which you are attracting more abundance into your life, thus, you are finding proof! Abundance is simply energy and the more often you discover that you are aligned with the energy of abundance, the more often you will be removing doubt that you are Allowing your desire to win the lottery. For example, if you find money or someone buys you lunch or you find a great sale on an item you want to buy-this is all evidence that you are in alignment with abundance. Logging this evidence or tracking it in a journal will help you prove to yourself that you are aligning yourself more and more with abundance.

In short, how soon you'll win the lottery is determined by how much doubt you have about winning, and winning is all about removing that doubt thereby aligning yourself with the energy of abundance.

Barbie Games

When we let our little girls play with dolls, we are allowing them to exercise their imagination and creativity. It's also how they mimic the things that they see going on around them. One of the innovations that lets girls even become more creative are Barbie games. They come in a variety of forms for example, video games, online computer games, story book games and even vinyl sticky Barbie games. Barbie is of course the main character.

Online, you can dress the Barbie doll. In one version, she is in a store trying to make a decision on what to get. There are long and short dresses, and you can also change her hair color and hairstyle.

The fashion conscious aren't left out. There are tons of accessories like shoes, handbags, jewelry, and hosiery and so on. In another game, you find Barbie surrounded by loads of glamorous dresses and you get to pick what you like and dress her in it. You can also change her lip color and make up. It's actually a lot of fun.

There are also Barbie games where you go on adventures with Barbie. These are based on some of the Barbie movies and it doesn't matter if you haven't seen the movie. It's still fun and easy to play. Your little girl is promised a lot of fun with these games, and as a parent one should know that the content is suitable as they are aimed for young girls. The games are also very easy to navigate though.

Various Satellite Technologies For Communication and Entertainment

Nobody likes getting lost. Not only is it a waste of time, gas and energy, but it can also be quite frustrating. That is why when the first GPS (global positioning systems) were approved for civilian used at the end of the nineteen nineties people rushed out to purchase them. But as with any new technology, these early models were not especially consistent or accurate. In fact, it was not until the new millennium that military restrictions were lifted on civilian GPS units, which immediately increased the precision from 100 meters to 20 meters.

Nearly a decade later, the average GPS device can pinpoint your location almost anywhere on earth. Their most popular application, however, is simply as a guidance device for civilian vehicles. All you have to do is enter your starting location and your destination and you will receive detailed directions to anywhere you want to go.

Fortunately for consumers as GPS technology has improved and competition in the industry has increase, prices have come down quite a bit. It is now possible to purchase affordable, even cheap GPS units from some of the top companies. Presently, the most popular brands include: Bushnell, Garmin, Lowrance, and Magellan, just to name a few.

Where to Look?

The first place you should look for affordable GPS systems is on the internet. Oftentimes, companies will have promotional offers or deals for online shoppers. You may even qualify for free shipping.

Benefits

As we mentioned, GPS units are navigational devices that can help drivers get where they need to go more quickly than they ever imagined. In fact, all current models automatically calculate the shortest distance to your destination and provide detailed, step by step directions. Most models also feature audio instructions. That is, a voice will tell you when to turn and how far you must travel on a certain road before you have to make the next turn. This is an especially helpful feature because it means that the driver never has to take his eyes off the road to check the GPS screen for directions. Some of the more expensive devices will even let you know when to switch lanes for an upcoming turn.

Handheld GPS Systems

There are also handheld GPS devices that provide users with incredible amounts of information in a small rechargeable unit that can be taken just about anywhere. These GPS units are especially helpful for people who enjoy outdoor sports and activities like hiking, mountain biking, hunting or camping. So, even when you're out in the wilderness and your cell phone gets no reception and you can't call anyone, your Handheld GPS system will let you know exactly where you are as well as the shortest path home. And just like the GPS units that are used in vehicles, handheld devices are competitively priced.

Believe it or not, these days there are even GPS units that are sport specific. For example, there are devices for cyclists to let them know their speed, location, and distance traveled. There are even portable GPS units that can be used by golfers to tell them exactly how far they are from the hole.

That's an awful lot of progress in just over a decade.

Four Power System Problems Common in Colocation Facilities

The primary factor that determines uptime for servers in a colocation facility is power. Power outages will knock a network offline and even damage hardware such as motherboards, memory, and hard drives. Despite how intrinsic power is to keeping businesses connected to their networks, only 2% to 3% of colocation facilities have the right power systems in place. The other 97% of facilities most commonly lack redundancy, multiple units carry the energy load even if one unit fails, or have units that are running above capacity, so a unit failure will cause the other units to overload and fail. Every part of the power system – uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), transfer switches or circuit breakers, generators, and power distribution units (PDU) – should be redundant and running below capacity.

Problem 1: Non-redundant Power Grids
Multiple PDUs connected to separate power grids and multiple UPSs should be designed into the colocation facility to offset a power grid failure. Colocation facilities with redundant power grids can connect customer servers to different grids at the same time, so that even if one goes offline, the other will work, keeping the network running without interruption.

Problem 2: Non-redundant UPSs
The UPSs supply power during an outage until the generator can come online; if the UPSs do not turn on immediately at the time of failure, then the network will go down. Even with high quality UPSs, failures are common, so it is critical for there to be multiple redundant UPS units in an “n+1” configuration – all of the necessary UPSs, plus an extra. Functionally, this means that each UPS runs sufficiently below capacity to handle a unit failure without the other units overloading. If there are two UPSs, then each unit must run below 50%, so that if one fails, the other can continue without overloading. If there are three units, each must run below 66%; four units, below 75%. The current load is shown on the display on the front of the UPS.

Problem 3: Transfer Switch Failures
Most colocation facilities use mechanical transfer switches, which are not as dependable as circuit breakers, to switch power from the electric utility to the generator. These switches are one of the most common places the power system fails. Without redundant switches to transfer power at the same point, a transfer switch failure will mean that a network goes down.

Problem 4: Insufficient Generator Capacity
Generators supply power during an outage. To run without overloading, the generator must have capacity to run 1.5 times the total building load. Ideally, a colocation facility should have a redundant backup generator in case the primary generator fails, and the facility should have a process in place for switching power between generators. Having multiple generators is not the same as having redundant generators. One of the most common generator problems with colocation facilities is that the facility started out with a small generator and added generators as it grew. This creates multiple points where power has to be transferred during an outage, increasing the likelihood that a network will go down. As a practical consideration, the generators must be well-maintained, tested monthly, and fully supplied with fuel.

Points to Consider
Fewer than one in twenty colocation facilities have the best power systems in place despite the fact that power systems have the most impact on network uptime. Without well-maintained and redundant components running below capacity at every part of the system, network performance as well as server performance and equipment lifetime will suffer. To make sure that the power system at a colocation facility is robust enough to handle power and equipment failures, two words should be remembered: capacity and redundancy.

Public Speaking Tip: Conquer Stage Fright

Perhaps, there is no effective way to deal with nervousness but to deal with it squarely. Everyone who’s in the business of public speaking understands the feeling of standing in front of the crowd and delivering your speech.

There has been no more dreadful experience as compared to speaking in front of a huge crowd. In fact, in more than 1,000 people surveyed in a certain study, they would rather jokingly prefer to die instead of participating in a public speaking engagement.

This provides evidence that more than 86% of people object to the idea of delivering speeches and conducting talks, which in turn exposes themselves to possible ridicule should mistakes arise.

Symptoms of Stage Fright

Let’s face it; nobody is perfect. Famous orators, statesmen, leaders of nations, and even the most well-read scholars become fidgety before and during speeches. This very same fact puts you on an equal level with them and confirms its normality.

Despite these facts, people sometimes find it difficult to handle such situations and end up ruining such an important event. Among the symptoms of the above conditions are the following:

Excessive perspiration (sweat)
Unexplained nervousness
Sudden drop in body temperature
Abrupt onset of sore throat
Dry lips and mouth
Skin starts to look pale
Trembling knees, lips and voice
Increased palpitations
Nauseating feeling
Irregular breathing pattern

Overpowering Stage Fright

Before devising plans to minimize the effects of social phobia, it is best to identify the source of nervousness, why it occurs and how you could possibly lessen, if not ultimately abate such physical anxiety.

Just as experts in the field suffer from such feelings, ordinary people need not be overly concerned that they are alone. The truth is, such physical trepidity is a fact of life.

Swart, Margolis, and Den Boer, three authorities in public speaking, articulated on their views about speech and oration and the reason for the characterized physiological responses of people undergoing such processes.

They commented on the truth that people expecting humiliation and fear of public inspection and examination become overly saturating to the point where one is no longer able to deliver a quality talk.

Perchance, as long as you are alive and you are able to respond to the many things happening in your environment, the feeling of anxiety, nervousness, and fear arising from such a situation prevails.

Tips for Overcoming Stage Fright

Below are tips on how to get better with the dangers of public speaking. They are not meant to take away the feeling of panic during your speech but will, in a way, help you manage the stress associated with the situation.

You don’t have to follow all the recommendations listed below but choosing one or two or a combination of any of the ones which you think will work best for you is one roadmap to making your speech as perfect as you want it to be.

Don’t let the situation control you. Use that nerve to your advantage and walk with confidence with your speech as your effective tool in controlling others with your convincing remarks.

Take a Deep Breath – relax and focus on your breathing. This will ease up your stressed muscles and will help you concentrate on your speech.

Resist Intimidation – Forget speaking in front of people who are smarter than you. A university study shows that more often than not, more than 80% of your audience at a time does not have a complete background on your topic. This gives you a leading edge and puts you on a higher level of intellectual advantage.

Be Prepared - Nothing beats a well-prepared speech plan. Get enough practice and repeat it as many times as you can.

Ward Off Physical Distractions – Eliminate details which can cause confusion and distract you from your main business. Uncomfortable clothing and accessories that are irritating to the skin causes skin rashes. Wear light clothing or something which you are comfortable with.

Establish Eye Contact – Making eye to eye contact with your audience is the best way to deliver sincere and convincing oral discourse. It allows your audience to keep their attention on you and concentrate on what you have to say.

Choose the Right Food at the Right Time – Eat at least 3 hours before your actual speech. Food taken long enough before you do your talk perks your body up and provides you with the necessary energy to carry on the task of speaking.

Making Money While Travelling - Helpful Tips For Backpackers to Stay on Budget

If your travelling on a budget, lets say backpacking around the world, the idea would have crossed your mind... I wonder if I can make a little money while I'm travelling, so I can travel for longer? With the internet in every corner of the world now it's becoming easier and easier... Depending on how much work you want or how deeply you want to integrate into a foreign country there plenty of options. A great place to start is in Travel writing. It's free to do and while your backpacking around you will most definitely form your own observations and opinions, why not share them with other travellers and make a little money along the way. If this idea is music to your ears then here's a few options I've found:

Writing for Travel Websites: This can an easy way to make a little cash, sharpen your writing skills and get deeper into the countries you travel through. Sites like Matador and Boots n All will pay somewhere between $25 -$50 for articles, that's not a lot but look at it this way - if your already in a country then why not think of an angle and write a story about it, what's to loose? Plus it will almost certainly get you off of the tourist trail and into the heart of that place.

Keep a Travel Blog or Website: This way is a little more involved than the last but it can pay off if your prepared for a little hard work. Starting your own Blog couldn't be easier and there is a wealth of great resources available on the internet that can help. This approach require more Admin and you will need to be a writer, a marketer, deal with advertising and website design... But I'll say it again, the rewards can be big. I know Travel Bloggers that earn in excess of $2000 a month doing just this and I keep my own Blog about Backpacking around the world on a budget

Learn to teach English: Again a wealth of resources are available about this but your best bet is to get accredited with someone like TEFL - the best placements often go to TEFL certificated people. This is more of a long term option but it will give you the chance to really get under the skin of a community and as time goes by you'll only get better at it. It would be a great way to pay for yourself while you backpack around the world and make a difference to the people you meet.

Use Your Own Skills: this is something many people often overlook, they leave home not expecting their current set of skills to apply... Not true! Take hairdressing for example, many western travellers won't want to tackle the language barrier with a local hair stylist and instead let it hang low... But there is plenty of money to be made at busy guest houses a keen backpacker on a budget...

This is my no means comprehensive but it's a starting block that needs to be considered by any backpacker or traveler on a budget. Team these ides with saving money like using CouchSurfing.com and Skype and you will see your budget stretch much further than you ever expected.

Ever wondered what it's like to sell it all and go travel the world? - That's just what we did. Aaron and Georgie have been travelling the world since April 2008. We sold our house, our car and even our cat so we could go forth and backpack around the world on a budget. We Blog about our travels, our adventures, our love and our life from the road as wego - http://happytimeblog.co.uk Mucho Mucho LOVE... Come Join In... How to Choose the Best Lighting for Your Greenhouse

Choosing specific greenhouse lighting can be somewhat tricky. Here are five important factors to consider when making your selections.

1. Type of greenhouse — Before buying greenhouse lighting, you must understand the kind of greenhouse that you have. Is it a commercial greenhouse or a personal one? Knowing what type of greenhouse that you have will determine what kind of lighting to choose. For instance, if you have a commercial greenhouse, it is best that you buy lighting that is created to endure humid, adverse conditions that are commonly found in commercial conservatories. Research your options before making any purchase.

2. Length of use — The duration of light use in greenhouses based on a “photoperiod”— the period in which the light will be used may vary. For example, you may use lighting for a “12-hour photoperiod.” This means that within 24 hours cycle, lighting will be used for 12 hours and 12 hours with no light at all. It is important to buy a light that meets your specific usage needs. Find out what your needs are before making your selections.

3. Purpose — Buy a light that will focus on your desired results. For instance, if you want to motivate the growth of your orchids, it is best to buy a light that will put more weight on the “spectrum colors” like the red, blue and the “far-red wavelengths.” The colors of the light have notable effects on the plant growth. Not all light will produce the desired results. Talk to experts before purchasing.

4. Electrical efficiency — Opt for lighting products that provide optimum effect without having to compromise the amount of energy that they consume. It’s better to buy lights that are efficient and can still conserve as little energy as possible. Ensure that the lighting you buy meets your electrical efficiency requirements.

5. Heat — Remember that lighting should only be used where it is needed. A light that emits more heat as it releases light can be very harmful. Too much heat on a plant will trigger its death. For example, it’s not a good idea to buy an incandescent bulb because it gives out too much heat. Make sure you understand how much heat each lighting option produces before purchasing.

Lighting is an important factor in a plant’s development. Carefully consider the kinds of light you use in your greenhouse in order to ensure the quality of plant growth that you want to achieve.

United States vs. Gregory Reyes

I'm writing to offer my impressions of Greg Reyes Jr in advance of his sentencing with the hope that they may provide some perspective for your decision.

I'm a Partner at Sequoia Capital where I have worked since 1986. Sequoia Capital has helped organize and provided the original financing for a long list of well known technology companies that range from Apple in the 1970s to YouTube in recent years. I have served as a director of several of these companies including Yahoo!, Google, PayPal and Flextronics. Part of my experience with these, and other, public companies was to understand Wall Street's devotion to sales growth, operating income and cash flow and its complete disinterest in the non-cash items that seem to have come under such close scrutiny in the Brocade case.

I have known Greg since he was a young salesman working for Banyan Systems in the 1980s and have followed his career with great interest. He has always struck me as a highly energetic man with a forthright nature who is a fine leader of people. Greg has always had a reassuring and confident presence and, until his well publicized troubles began, there was never a shred of doubt about his good character. Prior to Greg's decision to join Brocade we were attempting to persuade him to become the Chief Executive Officer of one of Sequoia Capital's own companies. I am sure that Brocade would not be even half the company it is today without Greg's enthusiastic and dedicated leadership.

Wearing a Hearing Aid is Nothing to be Embarrassed About

Hearing impairment is one of the most common ailments in the United States. Near about 30 million American citizens are affected with hearing impairment. 2% children are affected with hearing impairment below the age of 18 and this percentage increases with age. To over come hearing impairment digital hearing aids and basic hearing aids are used worldwide for they have proved to be a miracle.

What is a hearing aid?

A hearing aid is a battery-operated, electronic device, which amplifies and changes sound to allow improved communication. Hearing aids receive sound through a microphone, which then convert the sound waves to electrical signals. The amplifier increases the intensity of signals and then sends the sound to ear with the help of a speaker.

What are the different kinds of hearing aids?

Several types of hearing aids are available in the market. Each type provides its own advantages depending upon its size, design and level of amplification. Before purchasing any hearing aid, you should confirm that it would work for you. Most manufacturing companies provide a two-month trial period during which you can return your hearing aid.

Four types of hearing aids are given below for people with hearing impairment:

o (ITE) In-the-Ear hearing aids: This type of a hearing aid fits completely in the outer ear and is useful for mild to severe hearing impairment. The case of the hearing aid is made of hard plastic. In-The-Ear hearing aids can hold telecoil (added technical mechanisms that help hearing aid to improve sound intensity during telephone calls.) ITE hearing aids can give poor feedback if they are damaged by ear drainage or earwax. ITE hearing aids are generally not used by children, as the casings are needed to be replaced as ears grow.

o (BTE) Behind-the-Ear hearing aids are worn behind the ear and are connected to a plastic earmold that fits inside the outer ear. The components of the hearing aid are held in a case behind the ear. Sound travels through the earmold into the ear. These types of hearing aids are used by people of all age group. Poor earmold fitting can cause a whistle sound production or formation of earwax or fluid.

o Canal hearing aids are available in two sizes. Canal hearing aids fit into the ear canal. A (CIC) or Completely-in-Canal hearing aid is mostly hidden in the ear canal and is used in the cases of mild to severe hearing impairment. CIC hearing aids are very small in size and that's why it is not possible to attach additional devices like telecoil. These hearing aids can also be damaged by ear drainage or earwax and are not recommended for children.

o Body hearing aids are also available in the market. They are big in size and mostly used when other hearing aids are not useful.

On some special occasions discount hearing aids are also available in market. You can buy discount hearing aids ranging from digital hearing aids to the basic behind the ear hearing aids. Some online sellers provide a larger selection of discount hearing aids at a more affordable price. Many companies like Songbird Hearing USA offer hearing aids for sale.
Make a detailed study before you place an order for a discount hearing aid.

How To Get The Most From Online Psychic Readings

Getting online psychic readings can open a person up to a world of frauds and those looking to only get money. It can be hard for a person to determine who is real and who is not. It helps to be armed with some important information before a person ever starts looking for a psychic reader.

There are generally two different types of psychic readers online. There are those who work for a company and those who have a private practice. Whether a person works for a company or for themselves is not an indication of if they are real or not. Sometimes a whole company can be a fake and sometimes individuals can be a fake. It goes either way. However, it helps to know if they are with a company or not. Sometimes companies offer a better chance of getting a refund then an individual. Sometimes individuals are more flexible. There are pros and cons to each.

When looking at companies it is important to see what type of testing procedures they have in their hiring process. If the company does not test their readers before hiring them then it is best to stir clear of them. Additionally, it helps to see what their refund policy is and if they keep records of the readings. Many online psychic readings are done in chat rooms or through email. If the reading is on record that can help when trying to get a refund.

With individuals it is smart to ask for references. They should be able to provide at least two happy clients for you to contact. Also check about what will happen if you are not satisfied.

As mentioned, most online psychic readings are done through chat rooms or email. In a chat room situation the client gets to talk with the reader as the reading is happening. It is like being face to face with the reader in some aspects. Chat room readings are nice because of the interaction. The client can ask questions and get clarification, if needed. Email readings can also be nice. Usually the reader will allow for follow up question, if needed, so the client can get clarification. Email readings are great for complex situations because the reader has time to work on the reading and isn’t pressured into giving immediate answers.

There are endless options in online psychic readings. There are many companies who have psychic readers online 24 hours a day. If a person wants an online psychic reading they will have no trouble finding a place to get one. However, as mentioned it is also easy to get scammed. Some of the signs of a scam include, readers who give vague answers to questions, no refund policy, no management contact information, a business that is fairly new with no references and pricing that is higher than the average.

Online psychic readings are usually much cheaper than phone readings. Online readings are usually booked according to a set amount of time. For email readings the readings are priced according to the question type or the length of the reading. In general, a person can expect to pay between $60 and $100 for a half hour online chat room readings and from $20 and up for an email reading.

Online psychic readings give a person the freedom to get a psychic reading whenever they want. They can also research the reader better than they can with a phone reading. Many times a person will find that online psychic readings offer a much better quality, too, than phone readings. For anyone looking to get a psychic reading, online readings are a great choice.

How To Play Lottery

Just about every country in the world has its own version of the lottery and in the USA alone there are dozens of different rules depending on whether you play a state lottery or the national lottery. This article will list the common rules that exist for most versions of the lottery. Most states impose a minimum age limit on players, ranging from 16 to 21.

The game begins when the player receives a lottery ticket or slip. In some instances, a board may be used. We’ll imagine that the player is using a ticket in these instructions. The ticket will have rows or columns of boxes containing numbers from 1 through 49.

The player needs to choose six numbers between 1 and 49 and mark their choices on the ticket, usually by putting a cross through the number. In some versions of the game, multiple sets of numbers can be used at once. A common alternative to this routine is to have the numbers chosen at random by the computer. This saves the player time and is useful for those who suffer from indecision!

Players should make sure that all the other information on the ticket is filled in, including name and address and the type of game, or ‘draw’, being played. In some instances, players may be able to choose to play the same numbers for multiple weeks. The choices really do vary from game to game so players need to carefully read through all of the given information when making their decision.

Once the ticket has been completed, players need to hand it in to their retailer or put it through a terminal device themselves. A printout will be handed back containing the player’s selections; the most important thing for the player now is remembering to check his or her numbers when the draw comes up. Every year millions of dollars go unclaimed in lottery games, so remember first and foremost to keep your ticket safe and claim any prize within six months or a year, depending on the regulations!

If three or more numbers in the draw match those on your ticket, you’ve won a prize. Three, four or five number matches offer small to substantial winnings; five numbers plus the bonus offer a reward much greater, whilst matching six numbers means you’ve won the jackpot. If more than one person matches the six numbers then the prize will be shared equally between the winners.

The History of Acorn Stair Lifts

Stair lifts have increased in popularity over the last few years. This is in part because of reductions in manufacturing costs that have been passed down to the consumer. A stair chair, or stair lift, is a device that is used to allow people to easily traverse a set of stairs. It consists of a chair or small platform that travels up and down the stairs via a track that is secured to the stairs or walls. There are several companies that sell stair lifts, and one of the more popular companies is Acorn Stair Lifts.

Acorn Stair Lifts is an international company that employs over 800 people worldwide . Created in 1992, Acorn began by buying new and used stair lifts and reselling them. They completely refurbished the used ones at their facility in the UK, but were quickly overwhelmed by the demand for their products. In order to fulfill all their orders, and to guarantee that the customer was receiving a well made product, they began manufacturing their own stair lifts, and have continued this tradition since.

While Acorn Stair Lifts had been rebuilding other company's stair chairs, they had become alarmed by the number of design flaws in these products. By manufacturing their own, they were able to guarantee high levels of safety and reliability. Their goal was to provide a stair liftthat was easy to install, simple to use, and required little maintenance. The result was the Acorn SuperGlide Stair chair, which continues to be one of their most well known products.
Until Acorn began manufacturing stair chairs, they had traditionally been powered by AC current. The developers at Acorn realized that there were many positive aspects associated with DC, battery, power. DC powers many advantages include higher safety, smooth operation, and the ability to still operate during power disruptions. Acorn pioneered this technology, and currently almost all stair lift manufacturers now offer a DC powered stair lift.

Acorn Stair Lift's main headquarters and manufacturing hub is located in Yorkshire, New England. They have locations all over the world, including distribution centers in Orlando, Florida and Ontario, Canada. With over 30,000 stair chairs manufactured each year, they are the biggest manufacturer in the United Kingdom. They have dealers all over the world and supply stair lifts to customers in over 70 different countries across the globe. Their dealers are located in places like Argentina, Belgium, Japan, France, Ireland, Austria, Africa, and Portugal, and it is safe to say that they are the most diverse stair lift manufacturer in the industry today.

If you are in the market for a stair lifts, then you have likely seen the many different manufacturers. Acorn provides well made products that are built to last and can be depended upon to provide many years of safe operation. With over 15 years of experience in the stair lifts industry, they have continued to think of the customer's safety first and have largely contributed to developing new and advanced technology that is geared towards creating a safe, reliable, and relatively maintenance free product.
